On March 1st, 2012 a “Liberty Swing” was officially opened in Wexford, Ireland thanks to the hard work and cooperation of Derek O’Neill, SQ Foundation, Variety Ireland, Mayor and City Council of Wexford, and many others. Derek committed to fund 20 Liberty Swings to be installed throughout Ireland over 10 years. Thanks to his support, countless wheelchair bound children will be able to use a swing for the first time.
