What is confidence? How confident are you? Where does long-term confidence come from, as opposed the fleeting feeling of a temporary ego boost?
We have all heard the saying, “Confidence is King!” so what does that mean for people who have little of it? Life can be a better experience with genuine confidence (not arrogance) and there are ways to develop confidence to help you on your journey.
Confidence stems from self-acceptance and being true to yourself. But how do you get there? It all starts with your belief in yourself. It’s not about what others think of you that gives you confidence, but what YOU think of YOU.
Ask yourself, what are you doing that gives other people permission to shake your self-image? When you have confidence, you don’t need validation from anyone else.
Earlier this month, during my discourse at Creacon Lodge (which was also streamed live online – thanks to everyone who participated from around the world!) I spoke about confidence and what it truly means. We explored ways to find the empowerment we need, and how to “fake it until you make it” on your way to strong inner confidence. Taking blame off the table in your best approach to life, and seeing what makes all of us deserving, perfect beings, are some of the issues we addressed as I took some great, interactive questions.
If you missed the event, you can watch the entire session on this site by clicking HERE to play the video recording. Enjoy the discussion and become conscious of your confidence! When you make a true effort to implement these teachings into your life, you help all of us by sharing the information and insights that lead to healing.
